Here is our third star. Martha Washington's Star. I really like the little pinwheel in the center but I have had trouble picking fabrics that look good in this block. The last time I made this block I was making it for my brother and sister-in-law. She didn't like the pinwheel but all she saw was the first 3 blocks and I had a vision for the whole quilt that she didn't quite see. Anyway, I left the pinwheels in and she likes it now. But this time, I have made a couple of pinwheels looking for the perfect combination. So, good luck. Looking forward to seeing your pinwheels in August.
